About The Position

The Ricardo Marriott DFW Westlake blends timeless elegance with contemporary hospitality. We are seeking an Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and elevate our food and beverage offerings to match the quality and sensorial experience of our hotels. This role is for someone who believes great food is at the heart of hospitality, can teach and inspire a team to exceed guest expectations, and embraces creativity and collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering an elevated dining experience, excel at upskilling teams, and possess the ability to ignite a spirit to serve. You will leverage the support of other departments in a positive and collaborative way, enjoy getting your hands dirty and working alongside your team, and always look for that “something extra” that will surprise and delight our guests. A deep love for food is essential.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Food & Beverage Director in a full-service, luxury hotel or high-volume fine dining establishment.
  • Proven leadership experience, having helmed other Restaurant and Bar departments to prosperity and growth.
  • Passion for the work behind the scenes, and ability to interact with guests and tell the story behind culinary adventures.
  • Hospitality education and/or appropriate level of on-the-job training and hotel culinary experience.
  • At least 5 years Restaurant and Bar Management experience, including fine dining and banquet events.
  • In-depth skills and knowledge of all bar and dining operations.
  • Belief that people come first and curators are the driving force behind success.
  • Belief that great food is at the heart of hospitality.
  • Belief in teaching and inspiring teams to exceed expectations.
  • Belief in exercising creativity and collaboration.
  • Belief in a dining experience that encompasses all 5 senses.
