About The Position

Morrison Healthcare is seeking a hands-on Executive Chef for its Orlando-area operation. The Executive Chef will lead daily kitchen operations, develop a strong culinary team, and deliver high-quality meals. Applicants with restaurant, hotel, resort, or catering experience are welcome; healthcare experience is not required. The role includes menu planning and execution, including modified diets, while following established guidelines. The position offers a five-day workweek with alternating weekends and opportunities for career growth and leadership development.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience.
• Strong hands-on cooking and team leadership skills.
• Experience in high-volume foodservice.
• Knowledge of production planning, food cost controls, and sanitation.
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and email.

Nice To Haves

• Catering experience.
• ServSafe certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily kitchen operations, with a focus on flavor, quality, and presentation.
• Plan and execute menus, including modified diets, following established guidelines.
• Coach and train the team in cooking techniques, food safety, and service standards.
• Manage ordering, inventory, food costs, portions, and waste.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and ensure audit readiness.
