About The Position

Oak Woods Manor is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Executive Chef to join their team. This role is responsible for ensuring all food items are prepared to culinary standards, providing residents with an exceptional dining experience while maintaining portion control and minimizing waste. The Executive Chef will continually work to improve resident, employee, and client satisfaction while ensuring delivery of company objectives such as budget, food and labor costs, food safety, and sanitation standards. This role also involves leading the culinary team in day-to-day operations.

Requirements

A fire and passion for working with seniors
A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
High school diploma, or equivalent, required
Prior dietary experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
Professional image in both appearance and behavior
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Nice To Haves

Minimum of three years of experience as a chef in a large-scale cooking operation preferred
Minimum of three years of experience in a kitchen managerial position highly preferred

Responsibilities
