The Executive Casino Host acts as a resource to guests and employees, spending the majority of their time on the gaming floor. This role involves assisting with special events, advising guests, and maintaining a working knowledge of the Fond du Lac Casino and its promotions. The host is responsible for promoting the success of the Player's Club, supporting enrollment goals, issuing cards, and demonstrating their use. They will observe, track, and review play within the player tracking system, work closely with gaming departments to assist with player needs, and observe special events in guests' lives by preparing and mailing cards and newsletters. The role also includes recording information on new guests, compiling guest feedback, and being on call with a fluctuating schedule to meet department, casino, and guest needs. A key responsibility is the development of new players through enrollments, tracking, and follow-up, as well as maintaining and increasing the activity of an assigned players list. Knowledge of computer applications such as word processing, databases, data entry, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Outlook is required. Appropriate work attire, attendance at all mandatory department training, and required Title 31 and/or SAR training are also necessary. The ability to obtain a gaming identification badge is required. The host must ensure the confidentiality of financial and employee records, display a responsive and professional manner, and recognize that each employee represents the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, demonstrating courtesy, respect, and sensitivity to all. They will represent the Fond du Lac Band and the department positively in the community, maintain proper attendance, and keep a clean work area. Flexibility and the assumption of other responsibilities as assigned by management are expected.
