Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Casino Host or in a player development role required.
  • Gaming License issued from the Squaxin Island Gaming Commission
  • Requires a Valid Washington State Driver License and must be insurable on the Tribe’s insurance
  • Must be at least 21 years of age

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a high-volume sales, hospitality, or guest service environment preferred, with demonstrated success in relationship management, account development, or client retention.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with high-value guests or clients to drive engagement, loyalty, and revenue growth.
  • Experience with player tracking systems, CRM platforms, or similar tools, with the ability to analyze data and apply insights to improve guest engagement and sales strategies.
  • Proven ability to resolve guest or client service issues with professionalism, discretion, and a personalized approach to service recovery.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or team lead experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a resource for guests, management, and team members to ensure a maximum level of satisfaction and service throughout the department and the casino.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with high-value casino guests.
  • Introduce new casino guests to the casino property.
  • Create and manage a diverse marketing strategy to connect with customers.
  • Obtain reservations for guests to attend various on-premises casino functions (tournaments, giveaways, concerts, parties, etc.).
  • Dispense amenities to qualified high-end guests.
  • Represent the casino at on and off-property events.
  • Reactivate inactive casino guests through direct contact (mail, telephone, personal visits, etc.).
  • Partner with other members of the Casino Marketing team and other departments to identify VIP guests.
  • Assist VIP guests with special reservations.
  • Resolve guest complaints and/or conflicts.
  • Facilitate the effective management of information throughout the department and casino.
  • Assist in training new Casino Marketing employees on Standard Operating procedures, IT platforms, and departmental philosophies.
  • Dispense complimentary amenities to guests who have attained the necessary levels of play.
  • Will follow Standard Operating Procedures, IT platform guidelines, and departmental philosophies.
  • Provides leadership and support to Casino Hosts, ensuring adherence to departmental standards, guest service expectations, and property policies.
  • Assisting in training, coaching, and mentoring new and existing Casino Host.
  • Provides support to Players Club Supervisors and Casino Host team in de-escalating situations with patrons to maintain a safe, professional, and guest-focused environment.
  • Maintain knowledge of all events on the property.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings and training.
