Executive Audio/Video and Production Assistant
About The Position
Cumulus| Nashville is searching for an Executive Audio, Video, and Production Assistant for WWTN-FM and Cumulus Nashville. This role requires someone who can do more than just create basic copy. The ideal candidate will have previous experience and the ability to collaborate effectively with on-air talent, the sales team, and cluster clients. We are looking for a creative copywriter with production skills to produce commercials and promos that stand out. Cumulus Media is an audio-first media company reaching a quarter billion people monthly. We operate 394 radio stations across 84 markets and deliver nationally-syndicated programming through Westwood One. We also foster original content through the Cumulus Podcast Network. Cumulus Media offers advertisers personal connections, local impact, and national reach through various platforms, including digital, mobile, social, and voice-activated channels, alongside integrated digital marketing services, influencer collaborations, audio solutions, research, and live events.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience
- Understanding of, and ability to deliver, high-quality recording and production
- Ability to work with creative individuals as part of a team
- Excellent communication
Nice To Haves
- Skills with Adobe, OcenAudio and Reaper production software a plus
- VCreative and OpX experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Be at the forefront of executing WWTN’s Digital strategy
- Participate in the hiring, scheduling, training, and quality control of WWTN Producers for Audio, video, and brand.
- Assist Talent and Producers in the Production of original audio and video podcasts
- Assist Production Director in all aspects of commercial production for the cluster, including but not limited to voicing commercials, producing commercials, dubbing client shows and commercials, hosting recording sessions with clients.
- Making appearances at customer-related and charitable events and performing remotes
- Render all artistic, creative, and professional services
