About The Position

Serve as a confidential resource and support for the VPFA, performing a broad range of high-level administrative duties and responsibilities. Work with an assigned portfolio of budget managers in the division that may be assigned to develop spending plans, decision packages, analyses, and reports. As a member of the college’s core budget staff, work collaboratively to develop and manage college-wide, all-funds, biennial budget plans and to develop long-range financial plans for the college that support the college’s strategic goals. Provide financial information, reports and analysis for department directors in the areas of costs, revenue forecasts, purchases, etc. Provide comprehensive support to department directors through efficient and effective alignment and coordination of resources and assets internal and external to the division. Monitor and maintain the position control system for the division. Plan, coordinate, and conduct complex projects, including studies and research as assigned by the VPFA. Write comprehensive project report/summary for internal and/or external organizations. Review existing policies and create new policies as assigned. Represent the college before groups, such as Council of Presidents, Legislature, and internal and external constituency groups. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Five years of progressively responsible senior-level administrative experience.
  • Education may substitute for up to four years of required experience.
