About The Position

MarshBerry is currently seeking an Executive Assistant for our Richmond, VA office. The Executive Assistant will provide professional support and value-added services to MarshBerry executives. The Executive Assistant will maintain executive calendars, schedule and coordinate meetings and events, facilitate travel, prepare presentations and various other administrative duties. The Executive Assistant will also assist with office management and facilities support.

Requirements

  • High School diploma required. Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of Executive Assistant experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Concur and Salesforce a plus.
  • Customer service: Consistently demonstrates a "customer first" attitude. Ensures the customer has a complete and satisfactory experience in terms of products/services rendered and questions/concerns addressed.
  • Attention to Detail: Takes pride in the quality of one's work output. Naturally pays close attention to work and takes accountability for accuracy, consistency, and thoroughness.
  • Communication: Conveys information clearly and concisely in written and verbal form. Listens attentively to others and responds based on information received.
  • Honors Commitments: Manages commitments effectively to deliver what's promised, navigating obstacles as they arise. Ensures others who have made commitments are supported in fulfilling them. Does not over-commit.
  • Prioritization: Organizes job duties. Meets deadlines. Aligns projects and tasks with corporate objectives. Ensures work being completed aligns with successful achievement of corporate, departmental, and team goals and deadlines issued.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Concur and Salesforce a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to Executives, including calendar management.
  • Research, plan, and make travel arrangements for Executives.
  • Complete and submit expense reports.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings and events.
  • Assist with office and facilities support including greeting guests, keeping common areas tidy, stocking common areas, and other office management responsibilities.
  • Communicate effectively to both internal and external clients through written and verbal communications.
  • Provide back-up support to Senior Executive Assistant.
  • Additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.
