About The Position

Amplitude is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support two key members of its executive leadership team: the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and the Head of Marketing. This role is crucial for managing priorities, coordinating initiatives, and ensuring the smooth operation of both departments. The position requires exceptional organization, sound judgment, discretion, adaptability, and a proactive mindset, aligning with Amplitude's core values of Humility, Ownership, and Growth Mindset. This role is based in Amplitude's San Francisco headquarters and operates under a hybrid work model, requiring multiple days onsite each week to foster collaboration and close partnership with executives and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Executive Assistant experience supporting senior executives, with experience supporting VP or C-level leaders preferred.
  • Experience managing complex domestic and international travel, executive calendars, meeting logistics, expense reporting, and executive communications.
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Slides, Sheets) and experience creating executive-ready presentations and documents.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage highly confidential information with professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
  • The ability to work from our San Francisco office as part of our hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the CHRO and Head of Marketing to proactively manage complex calendars, competing priorities, communications, travel, and day-to-day executive operations.
  • Drive execution of key business rhythms—including staff meetings, leadership reviews, team offsites, All Hands, QBRs, and cross-functional planning—ensuring seamless logistics and follow-through.
  • Build strong relationships across the executive team and partner with Workplace, Employee Experience, Finance, Recruiting, and other cross-functional teams to keep priorities moving efficiently.
  • Handle highly confidential information with exceptional judgment while serving as a trusted advisor and thought partner to both executives.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, leverage AI and automation tools where appropriate, and create scalable ways of working that increase executive effectiveness.
