About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking an Executive Assistant. In this position, you’ll be responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the General Manager with the day-to-day operational activities, preparing statistical reports, correspondence, handling information requests, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, travel, and meetings, and assisting in providing overall guest satisfaction with the Resort. Requirements

  • A minimum of two years of administrative, clerical, or executive assistant experience in a corporate, hotel, resort, or business setting.
  • Ability to understand and effectively utilize above-average computer equipment and applications, to include but not limited to: Microsoft Word and Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Having a broad understanding of the tourism industry and the day-to-day operations of a hotel/resort is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the General Manager and executive team, including calendar management, correspondence, document preparation, travel coordination, and meeting support.
  • Serve as a central communication hub by managing guest inquiries, customer service concerns, donation requests, resort communications, and maintaining strong relationships with guests, associates, and community partners.
  • Oversee office operations and administrative processes, including mail distribution, shipping logistics, invoice reconciliation, record management, supply inventory, and financial documentation.
  • Support resort-wide operations by ensuring exceptional guest service, maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations, facilitating cross-department communication, and assisting with special projects and events as directed by leadership.
