PagayaNew York, NY
$120,000 - $145,000Onsite

About The Position

Pagaya is seeking a skilled, adaptable, and service-oriented Executive Assistant to support the President's office. This high-impact, senior-level role reports to the Chief of Staff and focuses primarily on business-facing executive support. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a positive attitude, and be able to seamlessly transition between executive-level responsibilities, strategic thought partnership, and occasional personal support. The role requires operating with speed, range, and a "no ego" mindset in a highly collaborative team to meet the high standards required for a senior executive.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience supporting senior executives (or on an EA team) with high standards.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities at Pagaya’s fast pace.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication; effectively represents the Office of the President.
  • High degree of integrity, trusted with sensitive information, and maintains professionalism at all times.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a small, high-performing team with a "no ego" approach.
  • High flexibility to handle curveballs and smoothly shift between business-facing EA work and occasional personal tasks.
  • Willingness to work out of our midtown NYC office 5 days per week, with a flexible approach that may include extended hours and weekend check-ins during peak periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in financial services (or a mature Fintech/PE firm) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive executive support, including strategic calendar management, complex inbox management, meeting preparation, and follow-ups.
  • Quickly take actionable meeting notes and serve as a true thought partner—thinking while doing rather than relying on pure execution.
  • Coordinate logistics for domestic and international travel, including agendas, accommodations, and on-the-ground details.
  • Support preparation for internal and external meetings by organizing briefing documents, decks, and key materials in a highly polished standard.
  • Partner seamlessly with the President, Chief of Staff, Personal Assistant, and cross-functional partners to ensure alignment of business and personal calendars.
  • Step in with a service-oriented mindset to provide light personal support when needed (e.g., travel changes, errands, serving lunch/tea if the PA is unavailable, or coordination with vendors).
  • Track action items, ensure timely follow-up across internal and external stakeholders, and anticipate needs by proposing solutions before being asked.
  • Provide dynamic on-site support, which occasionally requires carrying bags, laptops, iPads, or papers and moving frequently around the office.
  • Drive special projects and operational initiatives run out of the Office of the President, including offsites, board preparation, and external relationship coordination.
