About the Position: The Executive Assistant to the CEO is a trusted strategic partner who enables the CEO to operate at maximum effectiveness. This role goes beyond traditional administrative support and requires strong judgment, anticipation, and the ability to manage complexity with discretion and precision. Reporting directly to SingleStore’s CEO, you will support a broad range of responsibilities including executive calendar and travel management, internal and external communications, event coordination, and select project management. You will work closely with senior leaders, the Board, and external stakeholders, playing a critical role in the rhythm and execution of the CEO’s priorities. Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience, ideally supporting a C-level executive.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity calmly and professionally.
  • High level of discretion and comfort handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Willingness to take ownership of challenging projects and support long-term objectives.
  • A growth mindset with a proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability and willingness to work onsite two days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage complex executive calendar coordination, including domestic and international travel planning.
  • Provide concierge-level support across all CEO commitments, engagements, and priorities.
  • Proactively anticipate needs by keeping the CEO informed, prepared, and aligned for upcoming days and weeks.
  • Manage and respond to inbound communications to the CEO’s office, ensuring timely follow-through and resolution.
  • Partner closely with the Chief of Staff to support Board operations, including scheduling, materials distribution, and handling sensitive documentation.
  • Coordinate ongoing workstreams with CEO direct reports, employees, Board members, and external partners.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Board members, investors, and venture capital firms, including their executive teams.
  • Plan and support company events such as employee gatherings, quarterly executive offsites, Board meetings, and company retreats.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Employee Engagement on employee events, celebrations, and cultural initiatives.
  • Provide support for select personal commitments on behalf of the CEO, as needed.
