About The Position

The Healthcare Quality & Affordability (HQA) Operations team leads the operational and strategic initiatives to advance affordable, high-quality health care to ensure equitable outcomes, sustainable cost efficiency, and exceptional care for all. The HQA Operations Executive Assistant will report to the Vice President, Partner Services. In this role, you will provide administrative and organizational support to executive leaders on the HQA Operations team. Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Requires at least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience managing complex calendars required
  • Experience planning corporate events or meetings required
  • Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a health plan or managed care setting preferred
  • Experience supporting Vice President and/or C-level Executives preferred
  • Demonstrates strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
  • Knowledge of how to use AI preferred
  • Knowledge of Service Marketplace ticketing system, Concur expense and travel systems, purchasing tools, time management systems, and data visualization tools used by Blue Shield preferred

Responsibilities

  • Carry out administrative, analytical, and procedural tasks with a high degree of autonomy
  • Handle administrative matters in the absence of, or on behalf of, the manager
  • Provide administrative oversight of third-party relationships through designated systems, including performance monitoring and tracking of goods and/or services
  • Serve as an administrative liaison between the manager, direct reports, and internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage the executive’s calendar, appointments, meetings, and schedule coordination
  • Screen and respond to emails, calls, and in-person appointments
  • Coordinate travel logistics, including booking travel, preparing itineraries, and supporting expense report completion
  • Manage documents and confidential information with appropriate discretion
  • Oversee general office processes, including ordering supplies and supporting administrative staff
  • Support special projects by coordinating resources and tracking progress
