About The Position

Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide essential support to Managing Director & Partners (MDPs) in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role is crucial for ensuring MDPs can seamlessly serve clients and meet internal commitments. The Executive Assistant will anticipate needs, manage complex schedules, handle end-to-end travel planning, and track time and expenses. BCG emphasizes in-person collaboration for culture, mentorship, and professional development, operating on a hybrid model with 3-5 days in the office per week. The role offers growth opportunities in areas like event planning, logistics management, and client relationship building, fostering a supportive environment for learning and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership and/or customer service experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a fast-paced environment, supporting senior executives, strongly preferred
  • High customer service orientation – highly responsive, strong interpersonal and communication skills, wants to deliver great results at all times; obsessed with acts of service

Responsibilities

  • Manage case team logistics
  • Manage complex schedules, including internal and external meetings
  • End-to-end ownership of travel planning
  • Keep track of time and expenses
  • Support administrative aspects of MDP internal commitments (practice area activities, leadership committees, recruiting)
  • Build effective working relationships with MDPs, clients and their assistants, EA and AA peers, and BST peers and internal resources
  • Proactively support high leverage activities for MDPs, such as account planning, client relationship management, research, and creation/preparation of client team materials
  • Act as a thought partner and trusted advisor to MDPs, their teams, and others at BCG
  • Keep MDPs informed of critical information
  • Guide MDPs on the optimal use of their time
  • Take initiative to bring important items to the forefront for MDPs
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required, including some personal support
