About The Position

Euclid is seeking an Executive Assistant to support their CEO and contribute to the smooth operation of their fast-moving climate startup. This role involves managing the CEO's schedule and administrative tasks, overseeing the NYC office's daily functions, supporting company offsite planning, enhancing team culture through event planning, assisting with company communications and People Operations, and taking on special projects. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, reliable, and eager to contribute to a mission-driven company in the renewable energy sector.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced, detail-heavy role.
  • Organized, reliable, and able to follow through to completion.
  • Genuine excitement about climate and startups.
  • Desire to be close to the mission and pace of an early-stage company.
  • Hungry to learn and coachable; takes feedback well, asks good questions, and levels up quickly.
  • Ambitious and autonomous; spots what needs handling and takes initiative.
  • Meticulous attention to detail; ensures nothing slips through the cracks.

  • Administrative or Assistant experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage scheduling and administrative tasks for the CEO, including meetings, client calls, and travel arrangements.
  • Coordinate personal appointments and travel for the CEO.
  • Conduct weekly reviews of the CEO's to-do list to identify and manage administrative tasks.
  • Develop and implement systems and processes to enhance the CEO's organization and focus.
  • Maintain the NYC office's operations, including supply and snack orders, team lunches, décor, and general tidiness.
  • Manage WeWork guest access and book/prepare rooms for external meetings and guests.
  • Support the planning and logistics for company off-sites, including venue and hotel booking, travel and meal coordination, and day-of execution.
  • Plan and execute NYC happy hours and the end-of-year holiday party.
  • Coordinate end-of-year customer gifts.
  • Identify and drive initiatives to strengthen company culture and team cohesion.
  • Assist with the creation of weekly company all-hands and quarterly strategic presentations.
  • Conduct background research and support the drafting of talking points, emails, LinkedIn posts, and other written materials for the CEO.
  • Support new hire onboarding and assist the People team with ad-hoc projects.
  • Assist with special projects as needed, such as sending swag and gifts, planning events, or supporting new initiatives.
