About The Position

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. As an Executive Assistant, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by providing administrative support for the Electronics Business President, Vice President and Directors. This role involves performing administrative duties such as coordinating domestic and international travel, expense management, managing calendars, reviewing and routing incoming correspondence, database management, managing business distribution lists, managing aspects of SharePoint sites and other internal communications platforms. You will also be responsible for scheduling and supporting on- and off-site meetings, video conferences and teleconferences and making necessary arrangements to set-up meeting space. You will be a key point person for the Electronics Business Vertical leadership team, keeping organized with various key dates and deadlines. Additionally, you will process invoices in SAP for business related expenses, assist with the hiring process and new employee onboarding, and work on special and ongoing projects as directed. You will serve as a resource for interpretation and application of standard department/corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines, and practices, and suggest and implement improvements to office and department procedures and programs. This role requires highly developed written and oral communication skills and collaboration skills.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
  • Ten (10) years of combined experience in an administrative assistant function, secretarial, and/or clerical role in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Coordinating domestic and international travel (experience required)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience with employee data systems such as SAP, Workday, Concur expense reporting, etc.
  • Experience supporting executive meetings and users conference with customers and partners – agenda, logistics, food, travel arrangements, IT set up etc.
  • Experience supporting an executive conference member
  • Experience handling confidential, sensitive business information and supporting executive level professionals
  • Advanced proficiency in MS office including Work, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Experience using digital tools to improve personal productivity and business processes.
  • Experience working with a team in different time zones and cultures globally.
  • Basic familiarity with AI tools and agents for work efficiency and quality.
  • Ability to build connections and collaboration across functional teams, being resourceful and well informed to efficiently support the executives.
