About The Position

Supports a local or regional VP or Hospital/Medical Group President in an administrative capacity. Plays a major role in coordinating the primary function, work or activities of the executive(s) being supported by anticipating their needs and work flow.

Requirements

  • Monday-Friday, typically 8am-430pm. This can vary depending on event and meeting needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong typing and data/document management skills.
  • Ability to create professional presentations and reports.
  • Experience with project tracking and management tools.
  • Adaptability to learn and utilize new technologies.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in calendar & scheduling.
  • High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of more complex and advanced administrative work.
  • Serves as an administrative liaison with others outside of the area or organization.
  • Demonstrates initiative and independence using extensive knowledge of the area of responsibility.
  • May deal with highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • Compiles information for reports or presentations.
  • Prepares charts, graphs, or tables.
  • May be responsible for budget tracking and maintaining financial or personnel records and databases.
  • Responds to correspondence.
  • Edits and proofreads documents.
  • Communicates with others in person, telephone, and/or email.
  • May receive and screen visitors and handles general inquiries.
  • Assists with preparing for and facilitating meetings, conferences, programs and/or special events.
  • Establishes and maintains filing systems.
  • Orders and stocks supplies.
  • May enter information from a variety of sources into computer database(s) and verify data entered into computer by checking printouts/reports for errors and correcting as required.
  • Works within established procedures and a moderate degree of supervision.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
