About The Position

A highly respected boutique venture capital firm in San Francisco is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide maternity leave coverage for two Partners. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative investment team and support two Partners in a dynamic, deal-driven environment. This role requires someone who understands the pace and priorities of venture capital. The ideal candidate has prior VC experience, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to proactively manage competing priorities while keeping investment processes moving seamlessly.

Requirements

• Prior Executive Assistant experience within a venture capital firm.
• Experience supporting senior executives or Partners in a fast-paced investment environment.
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills with outstanding attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with polished executive presence.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
• Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level administrative support to two Partners, including complex calendar management and scheduling.
• Coordinate domestic and international travel, itineraries, and logistics.
• Manage incoming investment opportunities and help shepherd deals through the pipeline.
• Create action items, track deliverables, and ensure timely follow-up for partner meetings and investment processes.
• Serve as a project manager across multiple active deals, keeping stakeholders informed and organized.
• Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and follow-up documentation.
• Draft and refine professional communications, with the opportunity to eventually ghostwrite emails and other correspondence on behalf of the Partners.
• Anticipate needs, solve problems proactively, and help keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.
