About The Position

CCL Hospitality Group is seeking an accomplished Executive Assistant to serve as a trusted partner to the CEO. This highly visible role helps maximize the CEO’s effectiveness by proactively managing priorities, anticipating needs, facilitating communication, and ensuring seamless coordination across a fast-paced organization. The Executive Assistant will develop a strong understanding of the CEO’s business priorities and key relationships and use that context to anticipate needs and support effective execution. This individual will work closely with CCL senior leadership and build strong relationships across Compass Group, including corporate functions and senior leaders across other sectors. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, highly organized, and comfortable operating with a high degree of independence. Success requires exceptional judgment, discretion, executive presence, and the ability to represent the CEO and CCL Hospitality Group professionally with clients, leaders, and other key stakeholders. This is a hybrid position requiring regular on-site presence at Compass Group Headquarters in Charlotte, NC. Please note that this is not a fully remote position.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive Executive Assistant experience, including direct support of a C-suite executive or similarly senior leader within a large, complex organization; experience supporting a CEO or enterprise-level executive strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business judgment and strategic awareness with the ability to anticipate needs, solve problems, and operate independently.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the executive presence to interact confidently and professionally with senior leaders, clients, and key stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational savvy with the ability to navigate a large, matrixed organization and build trusted relationships across functions and levels.
  • Exceptional discretion when handling highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • Collaborative, service-oriented approach with a strong hospitality mindset.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with comfort leveraging AI and emerging technology to improve productivity and workflow.
  • Financial and analytical aptitude with the ability to understand business information and executive-level reporting.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing priorities and the demands of a CEO-level executive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted partner to the CEO, anticipating needs, understanding business priorities, and helping ensure effective use of the CEO’s time and attention.
  • Manage a complex and evolving executive calendar, exercising sound judgment when prioritizing meetings, commitments, and competing demands.
  • Triage and prioritize requests, independently resolving or redirecting matters when appropriate and ensuring critical issues receive timely attention.
  • Maintain an understanding of key business initiatives and organizational priorities to provide informed and proactive support.
  • Exercise exceptional discretion in handling confidential business, personnel, client, financial, and organizational information.
  • Serve as a professional and trusted representative of the CEO with clients, Compass Group executives, CCL leadership, business partners, and other key stakeholders.
  • Build strong working relationships across CCL, Compass Group corporate functions, and other sectors to facilitate communication, coordination, and alignment.
  • Draft and coordinate executive communications, correspondence, presentations, and other materials, adapting communication appropriately based on audience, sensitivity, and business context.
  • Coordinate executive and leadership meetings, including agendas, materials, logistics, and follow-up.
  • Attend meetings as requested to capture key decisions, commitments, and action items and proactively coordinate follow-through with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Manage complex multi-day travel, including transportation, accommodations, client meetings, dining, and detailed itineraries.
  • Support leadership meetings, off-sites, client engagements, and company events, including vendor and contract coordination when appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain executive presentations, organizational materials, reports, and other business documents.
  • Support special projects and business initiatives on behalf of the CEO and executive leadership team.
  • Maintain organizational information and tracking tools to ensure executive materials remain accurate and current.
  • Leverage technology and AI-enabled tools to improve productivity, communication, organization, and executive workflows while exercising appropriate judgment with confidential information.
