About The Position

Flying Bark Productions is a dynamic and innovative animation studio dedicated to pushing the boundaries of character animation and storytelling. We are working on exciting projects such as Avatar: The Last Airbender feature film, Netflix's Ghostbusters animated series, and Stranger Things animated series as well as upcoming feature film, Zac Power.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Executive Assistant to join our Burbank, CA studio’s growing team! You’ll be part of a collaborative, inclusive group who thrives on problem-solving as a team. This role is located onsite in our Burbank, CA office.

Requirements

• Animation industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience managing calendars for executive/senior-level teams preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Must be detail-oriented and organized.
• Able to prioritize and multitask.
• Ability to think outside the box when needed.
• Ability to anticipate needs and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic production environment.
• Must be flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace applications is a must. (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.)
• A passion for animation, film, TV, or games.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage complex calendars, ensuring obligations and deadlines are met efficiently.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings with meticulous attention to detail, working with both internal teams and external partners.
• Assist with email management, prioritizing urgent correspondence and tracking follow-up items.
• Prepare materials for meetings and presentations.
• Handle sensitive and confidential materials with discretion.
• Contribute to project initiatives with a proactive, creative approach.
• Collaborate with corporate staff and production teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Provide travel and expense report support for EPs and Leadership.
• Oversee and purchase office and studio supplies.
• Manage guest & new crew drive-on requests as well as provide location/parking info.
• Help plan crew events, morale-building gatherings, and provide show area decorating as needed.
