The Superintendent's Executive Assistant serves as a trusted strategic partner to the Superintendent and plays a critical role in advancing Lexington School for the Deaf's mission, vision, and culture. This highly visible position provides executive-level administrative, organizational, communication, and operational support while serving as a key liaison among the Superintendent, Board of Trustees, Executive Leadership Team, School Leadership Team, staff, families, and community stakeholders. The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep commitment to Lexington's mission of empowering Deaf and Hard of Hearing students through a language-rich, student-centered educational environment. The Executive Assistant will contribute to a positive and collaborative workplace culture by promoting professionalism, effective communication, accountability, respect, and teamwork across all levels of the organization. Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and written English is required, as the Executive Assistant serves as an important communication bridge within Lexington's bilingual environment and may provide interpretation support during meetings and events as needed.
