Website: https://www.nnmc.com This Executive Assistant to the CEO opportunity is full time at 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient day shift schedule. This dynamic individual will be responsible for technical and advanced administrative support to the managing director/CEO and chief operating officer. The Executive Assistant is a positive, self-driven individual with an understanding of privatization, time management and can ensure efficient workflow within the department. You will help with special projects, manage contracts, directorships and renewals.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Five years administrative assistant experience reporting to a CEO, vice president or executive level position is required
  • Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills to communicate in a clear and concise manner with a wide variety of business contacts
  • The ability to work independently and use good judgment to prioritize work and prepare and present special reports and projects
  • Thorough knowledge of word processing and related programs, computer savvy and excellent, accurate typing skills

Responsibilities

  • Ability to oversee general office management and supervise the nursing administrative assistant to ensure efficient work flow and phone/reception coverage.
  • Takes and transcribes dictation and independently prepares a variety of correspondence, reports, statements and rosters. Gathers data and other necessary information in order to prepare special and routine reports/analyses.
  • Arranges meetings and conferences, schedules interviews, appointments, travel plans and performs other duties related to maintenance of Managing Director/CEO and COO's calendars and schedules. Acts as a gatekeeper for the CEO by judging the priorities of individual/situation and the CEO’s time and calendar
  • Receives and screens telephone calls; routes or handles them appropriately. Answers inquiries concerning activities and operations of department and hospital. Filters information for the CEO and/or COO.
  • Engages in a variety of professional contacts with physicians, business and corporate employees.
