The Executive Assistant to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) is responsible for providing high-level administrative and organizational support to the CIO while also helping enable the effectiveness of the broader IT leadership team. Primary responsibilities include managing the CIO’s calendar, coordinating meetings and travel, organizing events, managing expenses and administrative follow-up, and ensuring the CIO is well prepared for key meetings, decisions, and commitments. As the primary administrative resource for the IT organization, the Executive Assistant will also provide appropriate coordination and administrative support to the CIO’s leadership team, including assistance with leadership meetings, team events, travel and scheduling needs, communications, and other activities that require coordination across the organization. The role requires sound judgment in balancing the priorities of the CIO with the broader needs of the IT leadership team. The successful candidate is highly organized, proactive, resourceful, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities and schedules may change quickly. They anticipate needs, identify opportunities to improve efficiency, and help ensure commitments, actions, and follow-ups are effectively managed. The position requires a high degree of professionalism, trustworthiness, discretion, and judgment, along with the ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, and a comfort level working with the company’s productivity and collaboration tools.
