About The Position

Executive Assistant to the Chief Resource Officer Be the trusted partner behind mission-driven leadership. At Big Bend Health, we believe exceptional patient care begins with exceptional people. We are seeking an organized, polished, and highly professional Executive Assistant to the Chief Resource Officer (CRO) to provide senior-level administrative support while helping create an outstanding experience for employees, patients, families, volunteers, and community partners. This is much more than a traditional administrative position. As the Executive Assistant to the CRO, you will become a trusted partner supporting organizational leadership, coordinating executive priorities, preparing professional communications, and helping ensure the smooth operation of Administrative Services in collaboration with our Human Resources team. Requirements

  • Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented
  • An outstanding written and verbal communicator
  • Professional, approachable, and customer-focused
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision
  • Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Able to exercise excellent judgment while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality
  • Someone who enjoys supporting others and contributing to a collaborative team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Five or more years of progressively responsible administrative experience
  • Experience supporting organizational leaders or executives preferred
  • Healthcare or nonprofit experience is a plus
  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Managing the CRO's schedule; monitoring calendar and tracking deadlines
  • Preparing professional correspondence, presentations, reports, and meeting materials
  • Coordinating leadership meetings and special projects
  • Maintaining confidential executive and personnel information
  • Supporting Administrative Services operations in partnership with the Director of Human Resources
  • Providing exceptional customer service while helping create a welcoming first impression for our organization
  • Serving as a trusted resource who keeps priorities organized and moving forward
  • Credit card reconciliation
