About The Position

The Executive Assistant to the CEO plays a vital role in supporting executive leadership and helping the organization continue to serve its community with compassion, excellence, and purpose. This position is an opportunity to serve as a trusted partner to the CEO, ensuring that priorities move forward, communication is seamless, and the day-to-day operations of the executive office are organized, professional, and effective. The Executive Assistant to the President & CEO provides high-level, confidential, and strategic administrative support to the President & CEO and serves as a key resource to the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors. Working in a highly trusted relationship with the CEO, the Executive Assistant manages complex scheduling and priorities, coordinates executive communications and activities, supports Board governance processes, facilitates executive and external relationships, and manages special projects on behalf of the CEO. The Executive Assistant serves as an extension of the Office of the CEO and exercises a high degree of judgment, discretion, professionalism, initiative, and attention to detail. The position requires the ability to anticipate needs, identify priorities, independently solve problems, and appropriately manage highly sensitive and confidential information.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible executive administrative experience, preferably supporting a President, CEO, or other C-suite executive.
  • Current Notary certification is required and must be maintained for organizational purposes.
  • Valid Colorado driver's license, reliable transportation, and adequate automobile insurance required.
  • Demonstrate exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exercise sound judgment and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Comfortable interacting with executives, board members, community leaders, donors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to anticipate needs rather than waiting to be asked.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, flexibility, and follow-through.
  • Enjoy working collaboratively and contributing to a mission-driven organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Leadership, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant executive-level administrative experience may be considered.
  • Experience supporting a Board of Directors and/or governance activities strongly preferred.
