This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Manufacturing Engineering, Integrated Supply Chain, and Test Operations. As an Executive Assistant II supporting the Safety, Quality, Mission Assurance (SQMA) business, you’ll provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the leadership team, helping coordinate business priorities and cadences. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and dedication to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong work tenure: 5 -7 years of experience supporting senior level executives.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and high customer service capabilities and delivery.
  • Administrative skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • A bias for action.
  • Emotional maturity; positive, low-stress behavior, in words and actions.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Aerospace environment experience.
  • Technical or manufacturing environment experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely and effectively with senior management to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
  • Exercise good judgment while maintaining a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
  • Manage an extremely active calendar of appointments.
  • Plan, coordinate, and ensure the schedule is followed and respected.
  • Provide gatekeeper and gateway role, creating win-win situations for direct access to executives.
  • Arrange complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; compile documents for travel-related meetings.
  • Complete expense reports timely, following, and enforcing policy.
  • Domestic and international travel is expected.
  • Successfully complete tasks and critical aspects of deliverables.
  • Plan and organize leadership off-site and team building events, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and promoting team cohesion.
  • Using strong organizational skills, perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
  • Prioritize conflicting needs.
  • Handle matters expeditiously and proactively, following through on requirements to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
  • Adapt to competing demands in a fast-moving environment.
