About The Position

Provides a broad range of high-level, specialized administrative support to one or more executive leaders on the Executive Career Path in the Legal & Risk Services Department. Works independently on a variety of complex assignments that are generally of a critical and confidential nature, exercising sound judgment, and applying advanced knowledge, and skills of Sutter Health administrative infrastructure, policies and procedures. Handles a broad range of complex inquiries, issues, and confidential materials. Exercises originality in developing methods or systems to resolve recurring or unusual circumstances. A successful candidate will be a quick learner, team player, client-centric, service-oriented (able to anticipate needs and execute independently), and have sound judgment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • At least 4 years relevant experience supporting attorneys or Vice President or above in general corporate, mergers & acquisitions or healthcare transactions practice areas.
  • Written communication skills including the ability to compose effective communications to audiences within and outside the organization.
  • Verbal communication skills including the ability to speak and listen effectively to various audiences within and outside of the organization.
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies and procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced skill level in software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, internet search software, AI and AI-enabled software, technology and platforms, and related information systems.
  • Interpret a variety of data and instructions, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies and procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Work independently, as well as be part of the team, including accomplishing multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions.
  • Identify, evaluate and resolve standard problems by selecting appropriate solutions from established options.

  • Experience with enterprise legal management and billing software (e.g., TeamConnect)
