About The Position

At Prudential, clear and consistent Technology & Operations execution is critical to driving growth, innovation, and future evolution. We are seeking a highly capable Executive Assistant to support the Chief Technology Officer, a senior leader responsible for technology strategy, platform modernization, and engineering excellence across the Global Technology and Operations organization. This role requires a proactive, self-starting partner who thrives in a fast-paced, highly focused executive environment and brings structure, foresight, and initiative to a complex and evolving agenda. The Executive Assistant will operate as an extension of the executive — embedded in the rhythm of the business, attending leadership meetings, and making informed decisions that keep the day running strategically. This is a true business partnership. This is a hybrid work arrangement (3 days/week in our Newark, NJ corporate headquarters).

Requirements

  • Significant experience supporting senior leaders in a complex, fast-paced, and global organization
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs, exercise sound judgment, and manage competing priorities
  • A proactive, self-starting mindset with a track record of finding efficiencies and taking initiative
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and virtual collaboration tools
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to refine business ideas into executive-ready materials
  • Comfort operating in a highly focused, direct working environment that values clarity and efficiency
  • Strong organizational awareness and ability to build effective relationships across senior stakeholders
  • Calm, professional presence with the ability to operate effectively under pressure
  • Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to support shared EA coverage and collaboration

Responsibilities

  • Strategically manage a complex executive calendar, balancing urgency, business impact, and senior stakeholder constraints
  • Provide foresight into upcoming priorities, deadlines, and decisions, particularly during periods of accelerated activity or travel
  • Prepare and refine executive-ready presentations and written materials, shaping business ideas or rough drafts into clear, polished outputs
  • Coordinate internal, external, and global meetings, including logistics, preparation, and hybrid meeting considerations
  • Support senior-level initiatives, events, and speaking engagements aligned to technology and operations priorities
  • Partner closely with the executive on time management, preparation for key discussions, and awareness of what's coming next
  • Exercise sound judgment to triage requests and make real-time prioritization calls
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Operate as part of a collaborative Executive Assistant community, providing coverage and support for peers as needed
  • Manage general administrative and operational responsibilities including travel coordination, expenses, invoices, approvals, and related processes

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO), and leave of absences, such as parental and military leave
  • 401(k) plan with company match (up to 4%)
  • Company-funded pension plan
  • Wellness Programs including up to $1,600 a year for reimbursement of items purchased to support personal wellbeing needs
  • Work/Life Resources to help support topics such as parenting, housing, senior care, finances, pets, legal matters, education, emotional and mental health, and career development
  • Education Benefit to help finance traditional college enrollment toward obtaining an approved degree and many accredited certificate programs
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan: Shares can be purchased at 85% of the lower of two prices (Beginning or End of the purchase period), after one year of service.
