About The Position

The CEO's calendar and inbox: prioritized scheduling, conflict-free coverage, and time-sensitive follow-through on email threads and external coordination. Complex domestic and international travel, itineraries, and logistics, plus selected personal logistics that affect the CEO's effectiveness. Concise briefings before important meetings: context, decisions needed, open questions. A clear tracker of commitments and decisions across the org, with follow-ups that happen without repeated CEO intervention. Preparation for the Weekly Leadership Sync, Monthly Executive Review, board meetings, and offsites. Selected cross-functional projects, research, and improvements to the systems around the CEO's office. Strict confidentiality and discretion. Day-to-day functioning of our NYC office, including greeting and hosting visitors, candidates, and guests. Proactively stocking and organizing the kitchen and office supplies. Team social events and culture-building moments, from small in-office touches to larger offsite logistics.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience from executive support, business operations, consulting, finance, executive search, legal, investor relations, or a high-growth technology company.
  • Ability to write clearly.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to stay calm when plans change.
  • Ability to be persistent without being abrasive.
  • Comfort with direct feedback and high standards.
  • Willingness to challenge assumptions respectfully.
  • Ambitious without viewing executive support as beneath you.
  • Must not prefer narrow and highly structured responsibilities.
  • Must not wait to be told what to do.
  • Must not avoid difficult follow-ups.
  • Must not be looking for a hybrid/remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the CEO's calendar and inbox, including prioritized scheduling, conflict-free coverage, and time-sensitive follow-through on email threads and external coordination.
  • Handle complex domestic and international travel, itineraries, and logistics, as well as selected personal logistics that affect the CEO's effectiveness.
  • Prepare concise briefings before important meetings, including context, decisions needed, and open questions.
  • Maintain a clear tracker of commitments and decisions across the organization, ensuring follow-ups occur without repeated CEO intervention.
  • Prepare for key meetings such as the Weekly Leadership Sync, Monthly Executive Review, board meetings, and offsites.
  • Undertake selected cross-functional projects, research, and improvements to the systems around the CEO's office.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
  • Manage the day-to-day functioning of the NYC office, including greeting and hosting visitors, candidates, and guests.
  • Proactively stock and organize the kitchen and office supplies.
  • Organize team social events and culture-building moments, from small in-office touches to larger offsite logistics.
