About The Position

Under general direction, the Executive Administrative Assistant is expected to provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions supporting our Administrative Accounting Department, Early Childhood Programs (ECP), and governance groups. Additionally, they will be expected to maintain client confidence and protect the organization by keeping information confidential. They will be expected to work independently with minimal direction.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of responsible experience performing a variety of complex administrative and fiscal work
  • At least two (2) years' experience in a non-profit or educational organization
  • AA degree in Social Services, Human Services Field, or Accounting preferred
  • Type 40 words per minute
  • Proven oral and written communication skills
  • Criminal background clearance as required by licensing agency
  • Current Health Screening
  • Proof of current negative TB test
  • Immunizations required by Community Care Licensing
  • Current influenza shot
  • Valid California Driver's License
  • Proof of current automobile insurance coverage
  • Willingness to work irregular hours, attend night meetings, and travel as required by the organization

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish bi-lingual preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Davis Bacon Act preferred
