The role is responsible for achieving sales objectives and driving profitable growth and market share within the assigned territory. The Account Manager will collaborate with the Regional Sales Director to identify market opportunities, evaluate business potential, and achieve annual sales objectives. Key activities include coordinating with Clinical Specialists, negotiating contracts with hospital customers, and monitoring market dynamics and competitive activity.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of related work experience
  • Ability to travel 50% within assigned region

Responsibilities

  • Lead all commercial selling activity for the assigned territory, focusing on Electrophysiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Cardiologists, and Interventional Radiologists to promote the complete Vessel Closure portfolio.
  • Influence stakeholders within the hospital setting to drive product utilization, support contracting, develop and manage relationships, and drive market development.
  • Serve as the primary owner for sales target achievement within the designated territory.
  • Support clinical selling activity and some procedure case service, including selling on clinical differentiation, value proposition, product launch, physician onboarding, early case coverage, and training.
  • Drive product utilization in key growth categories and sales/placement of capital to support product utilization.
  • Support contracting efforts to gain favorable positions in accounts within the territory.
  • Drive market development in new product segments and new product launches.
  • Meet with current and potential customers to fulfill revenue and unit growth objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies by analyzing relevant factors of existing and potential accounts to effectively promote company products.
  • Develop action plans by analyzing sales figures and reports, identifying account needs, and discussing issues with the Regional Sales Director.
  • Develop relationships with hospital personnel and identify key purchasing decision makers to facilitate sales growth.
  • Strengthen customer relationships by performing sales support activities such as product training, therapy awareness, and education events.
  • Build networks of contacts by attending and participating in trade shows, educational conferences, and seminars.
  • Maintain clinical and technical expertise by attending company product training sessions.
  • Prepare and submit reports to sales management by analyzing and compiling data, projections, and other relevant information.
