Raytheon is seeking an Execution Director (M7) for the AIM‑9X Sidewinder Program with responsibility for Production, Sustainment, and Capacity Expansion. Reporting to the AIM‑9X/JSOW Portfolio Sr. Director, this leader will oversee a high‑visibility portfolio that includes all new‑build weapon production contracts, sustainment and depot repair efforts, and all capacity growth initiatives across the AIM‑9X enterprise. This role oversees a fully established production, sustainment, and capacity execution team and is responsible for guiding ongoing execution activities across shared factory resources, coordinating program‑level execution strategies, ensuring alignment with long‑term customer demand, and advancing factory capacity initiatives that enable the program’s future. The position requires proficiency in leading large‑scale production and sustainment operations, directing cross‑functional teams, solving complex execution challenges, and driving clear communication across Raytheon leadership, customer partners, and supplier networks. Requirements

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 14 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 12 years’ experience
  • Prior experience leading profit & loss for DoD production or sustainment contracts
  • Prior experience with leading complex production, sustainment, or depot efforts
  • Prior experience leading cross‑functional teams and managing metrics through EAC reviews
  • Active US Secret Security Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Program Management Level 4 Certification
  • Prior experience working in high‑tempo execution environments requiring rapid issue resolution and recovery planning
  • Prior experience with munitions production or sustainment programs
  • Experience leading teams of program managers or multi‑portfolio execution organizations
  • Strong proficiency partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering
  • Proven track record of building strong customer relationships
  • Advanced understanding of Earned Value Management and production performance metrics

Responsibilities

  • Lead all AIM‑9X Production, Sustainment, Depot, and Capacity Expansion contracts, including responsibility for profit & loss, AOP, and key financial performance metrics
  • Provide leadership, direction, and support to the existing Production PM and Sustainment/Capacity PM teams
  • Deploy and sustain an execution methodology that provides clear visibility into schedule, cost, factory performance, and risk across all execution portfolios
  • Build a strong team culture focused on collaboration, transparency, accountability, and leadership development
  • Drive factory throughput improvements and lead recovery efforts across new‑build production and depot repair to achieve on‑time delivery goals for USG and FMS customers
  • Develop and execute capacity growth strategies aligned with future demand ramps, including factory capability improvements, capital planning, and workforce shaping
  • Partner closely with Transition‑to‑Production (TTP) leadership to ensure smooth introduction of new configurations into production and sustainment environments
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with customer counterparts, including leading regular execution updates and forward‑planning discussions
  • Oversee proposal development and investment strategies in support of follow‑on production, sustainment, and capacity contracts
  • Engage supplier leadership and internal supply chain to drive corrective actions, strengthen material availability, and align supplier capability with factory demand
  • Serve as a key member of the AIM‑9X Senior Leadership Team, contributing to strategy, execution priorities, and long‑term program positioning
