About The Position
We are seeking an Exchange and Messaging System Engineer to join our team supporting the Transportation Team. This role involves administering enterprise messaging environments, ensuring secure and available email operations, and managing Microsoft Exchange Online and M365 integration.
Requirements
- 5–8 years in email operations.
- Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations.
- Microsoft Exchange Server / M365 Administrator certification
- Security+ certification
- Bachelor's in information technology or network administration.
- Public Trust clearance
- U.S. Citizen
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Administers enterprise messaging environments, ensuring secure and available email operations.
- Manage Microsoft Exchange Online and M365 integration.
- Oversee email routing, spam filtering, and backup configurations.
- Ensure compliance with DOT records management and data retention policies.
- Provide Tier 3 email support and configuration documentation.
