About The Position

The Supply Chain organization is seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Exceptions Coordinator to support the company’s financial accuracy and recovery efforts. This role plays an important part in reviewing, validating, and processing customer deductions related to pricing, shortages, freight discrepancies, and other invoice‑related variances. The Exceptions Coordinator works closely with cross‑functional teams—including Accounts Receivable, Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, and internal Supply Chain partners—to investigate claims, ensure proper documentation, and resolve issues efficiently. This is a fast‑paced role requiring strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to reducing financial leakage.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of relevant experience in deductions management, accounts receivable, customer claims, transportation, manufacturing, or warehousing required.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office—especially Excel.
  • SAP or other ERP experience is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, plan effectively, and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships and maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • SAP or other ERP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Review, investigate, and validate customer deductions, including shortages, damaged goods, and freight discrepancies.
  • Research root causes and collaborate with internal partners to determine appropriate resolution or recovery actions.
  • Provide timely, cost‑effective solutions that support company policies and financial accuracy.
  • Work cross‑functionally with AR, Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams to reduce invalid deductions and improve processes.
  • Compile and update deduction reports, summaries, and dashboards as requested.
  • Adhere to departmental policies and ensure consistent communication with internal and external contacts.
  • Support accurate and timely processing of credit/debit adjustments in alignment with established procedures.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
