About The Position

Ampersand Therapy is hiring an Exceptional Children Special Education Teacher in Hampstead, North Carolina, for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an in-person, full-time W-2 position supporting students in a school setting. The teacher will work with the Special Education/Exceptional Children's team to implement accommodations and interventions according to student IEPs, attend staff and IEP meetings, and coordinate with school teams. Requirements

• Hold a North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) license in an area of Exceptional Children's Teaching.

• Coordinate with school teams.
