About The Position
Excel After the Bell is an afterschool tutoring program designed to help North Pole Middle School students achieve academic success. Your role as a tutor would be to help students re-learn concepts, complete homework successfully, and provide any further academic support needed in all subjects.
Requirements
- Understanding of the after-school program(s) and their role within the District
- Possess basic reading and math skills
- Possess a basic understanding of learning disabilities
- Clear and easily understood verbal communication skills in English
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with children
- Minimum age requirement of 16 years old
Responsibilities
- Help students re-learn concepts
- Complete homework successfully
- Provide further academic support needed in all subjects
