About The Position

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Operator conducts daily activities associated with trenchless pipe rehabilitation installation in a safe and efficient manner. The work includes preparing and operating equipment, assisting with pipe and manhole work, supporting liner installation, and completing restoration and cleanup. The position requires working in extreme environments and confined spaces and being physically fit.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in the listed responsibilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow project and task instructions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to be proactive and troubleshoot.
• Solid understanding and knowledge of standard field pipe rehabilitation installation procedures.
• Ability to work in extreme environments, conditions, and confined spaces.
• Physically fit condition.

• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check and fuel vehicles, perform light mechanical adjustments, and assist mechanics with repairs on assigned equipment.
• Set up trench jacks.
• Distribute notices to residents and businesses as instructed.
• Chip and repair manholes.
• Fuse pipe.
• Set up winches and connect hoses.
• Assist with liner installation, operate the inverter, and cut liner.
• Perform restoration and cleanup.
• Connect services.
• Set up and load equipment.
• Use all safety equipment and follow standard operating procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
