We're actively seeking experienced Excavation Pipe Repair Technicians - Laborers in Littleton, CO, to manage and lead the installation, set up, repair, and maintenance of water, sewer, and storm sewer pipes and valves.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license required with a clean motor vehicle report.
- Must possess a Class A or B CDL and be aligned with Insituform’s motor vehicle standards or be willing to obtain one within 180 days of being hired
- Proficiency in pipe installation techniques, including proper bedding and backfilling.
- 2+ years experience working in the underground pipe industry
- Knowledge of construction plans/blueprints and underground utility installation procedures.
- Strong commitment to safety and strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Able and willing to be on call for one week a month when needed.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and at different job sites as required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with laying pipes, cutting pipes, and bolting pipe fittings together and connections
- Complete valve installations and the maintenance and repair of mains
- Maintain a clean and safe work site
- Repair, maintain, and replace Water Mains, Gate Valves, Fire Hydrants, and Sewer Points
- Work with and around Water Taps (3/4"-2")
- Utilize laptops, tablets, and phones to report the completion of daily work and inspections
