About The Position

As an Excavation Installation Apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced technicians to learn all aspects of underground utility installation. This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain skills in assisting with excavation, grading, trenching, and backfilling tasks, helping to install utilities such as water, sewer, or drainage systems, and loading, unloading, and staging materials and tools. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe job site, operating hand tools, assisting equipment operators, and following all safety protocols and company policies.

Requirements

• Pre-employment background check

Responsibilities

• Assist with excavation, grading, trenching, and backfilling tasks
• Help install utilities such as water, sewer, or drainage systems
• Load, unload, and stage materials and tools
• Maintain a clean and safe job site
• Operate hand tools and assist equipment operators as directed
• Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times
