About The Position

Cleans and supplies patient rooms, wards, nursing stations, lounges, laboratories, bathrooms, offices, and other assigned areas according to Housekeeping Department procedures and facility objectives. Uses cleaning devices, tools, products, and supplies. After a three-day training period, must demonstrate the correct use of assigned chemicals, supplies, and tools.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
• Must be able to read and write to mix hazardous or non-hazardous chemicals.
• After a three-day training period, must demonstrate the correct use of assigned chemicals, supplies, and tools.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Clean and supply patient rooms, wards, nursing stations, lounges, laboratories, bathrooms, offices, and other assigned areas.
