About The Position
The EVS Utility Porter role at MGM Springfield is ideal for candidates with prior professional cleaning experience, preferably in a hospitality or resort environment. This role requires hands-on experience operating floor care and specialty cleaning equipment, maintaining high cleanliness standards, and safely handling materials in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused setting. Flexibility to work varied shifts and a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and service excellence are essential.
Requirements
- Able and willing to work a Full-Time schedule (40hours per week), overnight shift, 11p-7:45am including weekends and holidays
Nice To Haves
- Prior professional cleaning experience, preferably in a hospitality or resort environment
- Hands-on experience operating floor care and specialty cleaning equipment
- Maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Safely handling materials in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused setting
- Flexibility to work varied shifts
- Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and service excellence
- 6+ Months of Prior Relevant Experience is preferred
- Experience with professional cleaning equipment is preferred
Responsibilities
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service, in alignment with S.H.O.W. Service Basics and exceed guest expectations
- Maintain the highest standards to ensure the detail quality and cleanliness in the casino, public areas, offices, restrooms and other required areas
- Operate various professional floor care and specialty cleaning equipment
- Contains and cleans biohazardous materials
- Keep all equipment properly maintained, clean, and free of marks
