About The Position

The Environmental Services Technician at Logan Health performs a wide range of duties according to assigned area procedures and protocols. The position is on a PRN (as needed) status, offering flexibility to provide coverage during busy periods, employee absences, and vacations.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in the English language.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Self motivated and possess ability to work effectively in a team environment and with a diverse customer and coworker population.
  • Current Driver’s License (for Driver portion of the position).
  • Driving record for the previous thirty-six (36) months must not reflect any major driving offenses (i.e; DUI, convicted of a felony involving a motor vehicle, suspended license, three (3) or more speeding tickets or other moving violations, etc.) (for Driver portion of the position).
  • State law minimum liability coverage limits required for personal vehicles used for LH business (for Driver portion of the position).
  • Promotes excellence through setting high standards and providing high quality outcomes.
  • Ability to act with integrity, kindness, and exhibit empathy.
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.

  • Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of one (1) year related experience.
  • Prior experience answering phones and responding to pages.
  • Possess knowledge of the proper use of commercial equipment and devices.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritizes job functions to maintain proper workflow.

  • Exhibits working knowledge and correct usage of equipment and devices per assigned area(s).
  • Maintains equipment and resources appropriately and safely.
  • Exhibits working knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control as applicable to assigned area(s).
  • Follows confidentiality and safeguards for all patient and/or customer related information.
  • Responds to pages in a timely manner as applicable to assigned area(s).
  • Performs job duties efficiently and per department procedure, protocol and in accordance with State of Montana laws and regulations, for assigned area(s).
  • Stocks assigned carts for appropriate departments in a timely manner as applicable to assigned area(s).
  • Maintains regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership.
