About The Position

The EVS Tech helps maintain the hospital in a neat, orderly, sanitary, and safe condition. The role performs environmental services duties to keep facilities clean and in good condition, including cleaning and sanitizing assigned areas such as lounges, restrooms, exam rooms, and offices; restocking disposable supplies; and operating cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor care machines, and steam sterilizers while following safety and procedural guidelines. The position requires reliable weekend and holiday availability, attention to detail, cleanliness, and the ability to work independently.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of housekeeping experience.
• Ability to work reliably on weekends and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduate or GED.
• Housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments in a timely manner and in accordance with department policies and procedures.
• Understand and follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, and secure manner.
• Ensure assigned areas, including lounges, restrooms, exam rooms, and offices, have adequate disposable supplies.
• Follow all medical center and departmental policies and procedures.
• Ensure equipment is in operating order before use.
• Use vacuum cleaners according to the manufacturer's operating instructions.
• Operate cleaning equipment, including floor care machines and steam sterilizers.
