About The Position
The EVS Tech II promotes a healthy workplace through disinfection and infection prevention, following quality standards. The role performs routine cleaning tasks and helps maintain an organized, disinfected environment for employees and visitors. It also ensures timely room cleaning in surgical, procedural, and specialty environments to meet facility needs. The EVS Tech II may perform additional functions as needed to support Environmental Services.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of experience in a janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services position.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1 year of environmental services experience.
- Certificate in Non-Acute Care Cleaning (CNACC), Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST), or Certified Surgical Cleaning Technician (CSCT) certification.
Responsibilities

- Maintain an organized and disinfected environment for employees and visitors.
- Ensure timely room cleaning in surgical, procedural, and specialty environments.
- Perform additional functions as needed to provide Environmental Services support.
