About The Position

Right in the heart of State College, PA you will find the newest entertainment destination. Happy Valley Casino has taken over in The Nittany Mall, bringing the area's first-ever gaming facility! With two dining options, cocktail service, 30+ table games, and over 600 slot machines, we are sure to be the number one entertainment destination in Happy Valley! We are looking for an experienced EVS Supervisor to join our Facilities team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the property while leading a team of EVS Attendants. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who excels at team development, service standards, and operational excellence. This individual is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences through cleanliness, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of one (1) year of public area cleaning, environmental services, housekeeping, or related experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain licensure through the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments as needed.
Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, typically 6-8+ hours per shift.
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a guest-focused environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Supervising the environmental services program for assigned areas to ensure a clean, safe, and attractive environment for guests and team members.
Leading, coaching, and motivating a team of EVS Attendants to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and service.
Assigning daily tasks and providing oversight of public area services staff.
Conducting employee training, evaluations, and performance coaching to ensure department success.
Recommending, documenting, and issuing corrective action as appropriate.
Monitoring staffing levels and assisting with scheduling to support operational needs.
Submitting requisitions for cleaning supplies, equipment, and department inventory needs.
Assisting in the development and implementation of standards and procedures to ensure exceptional cleanliness and guest service.
Promoting positive guest interactions and outstanding customer relations throughout the property.
Ensuring compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
Maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring team members follow proper safety procedures.
Performing other duties and special projects as assigned.
