About The Position

EVS Specialist, Main OR, Extra Staffing EOC-0 Reporting to the Supervisor Environmental Services, Environmental Services, this position is responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness in all Surgical areas, Critical Care Units, and Labor and Delivery, preventing cross contamination, minimizing air borne bacteria and ensuring an aseptic environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to communicate and follow written instruction in a fast-paced, team environment is required.
• Knowledge of the use of wet/dry vacuum and mixture of cleaning solutions is required.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the use of floor machines for tile floor scrubbing is preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping in an acute care environment is preferred.
