About The Position

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring a Full-time EVS Restorative Floor Specialist at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital in Wilkes-Barre, PA. This individual cleans and keeps in an orderly condition facilities or locations on a healthcare campus. The role involves daily cleaning tasks as well as project work, with an emphasis on stripping and resurfacing floors. Requirements

Experience in floor restoration projects
Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with stripping and resurfacing floors
Medical cleaning a plus

Responsibilities

Monitors assigned areas and corridors for cups, spills, paper and debris.
Cleans all corners, edges and baseboards in the assigned areas.
Dust mop all the hard floor areas, cleaning behind doors and moving objects in the floor area that are movable.
Remove all marks/scuffs on the floor.
Damp mop floors with the proper assigned cleaning chemical or use scrubbing machine.
Emphasis in stripping and resurfacing floors.
Utilizes floor machines for project work as assigned.
Burnishes floors using a high-speed floor machine as directed.
May perform "Area Cleaner" job duties.
May perform "Waste Disposal Technician" job duties.
Performs related work as required.
