About The Position

We’re seeking a dedicated EVS (Environmental Services) Manager to spearhead our custodial team and ensure our facilities shine with cleanliness and professionalism! This role involves leading a team, ensuring compliance with policies and safety regulations, and contributing to the overall maintenance and operational efficiency of the facilities.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED required.
One to two years of supervisory experience required.
Computer literate in appropriate software.
Strong organizational skills required.
Understanding of the operation of janitorial specific equipment.

Excellent oral and written skills preferred.

Responsibilities

Interview, select, train, supervise and evaluate performance of all EVS associates, providing coaching and training as needed.
Ensure Department compliance with company and departmental policies and procedures.
Plan, coordinate, and delegate EVS work for all projects across the property and any other operating properties.
Assist the Facilities Department by supervising the Maintenance staff in partnership with the Maintenance Manager.
Assist in developing and managing a preventative maintenance program and schedule.
Advise management of necessary repairs, replacements, and maintenance in assigned areas.
Work closely with Risk Management to ensure safety for associates and guests.
Ensure adherence to all OSHA safety requirements and Company safety policies.
Work with regulatory agencies regarding code requirements and restrictions.
Assist in budget preparation and adhere to budgetary constraints for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
Process Payroll for departmental associates.
Provide leadership and guidance to EVS supervisors, overseeing all activities of EVS Department associates.
Support Maintenance Manager in the supervision of maintenance department associates.
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of EVS and maintenance units.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining associates, and resolving problems.
