About The Position

Baystate Health is seeking an EVS/ Linen supervisor to join our Environmental Services at Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield, Massachusetts. Located in Greenfield, Massachusetts, Baystate Franklin Medical Center serves patients throughout Franklin County and the surrounding communities. Requirements

• 2 years of custodial/housekeeping supervising experience.
• Highschool diploma or GED
• GED or HiSET (Required)

Responsibilities

• Supervision of EVS staff; assure efficient and effective workflows, address personnel issues, evaluations, scheduling, Kronos, orientation and staff development, disciplinary action, hiring, termination and similar activities.
• Resolves grievances and personnel issues and works in collaboration with Human Resources, Department Director, and Departmental Management team.
• Insures staff compliance of all BH policies and procedures, as well as all existing practices in EVS.
• Supervise shift employees and complete inspections of employee work assignments.
• Complete report of shift activity for the Manager.
• Train new employees.
• Participate in the staff evaluation process.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing of other shifts as required.
• Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs, safety, environmental procedures, and infection control.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned by Housekeeping Manager.
