Requirements

A high school diploma or GED is preferred
A minimum of one year of prior housekeeping experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Lead and support the Environmental Services team during assigned shifts
Assign daily tasks and monitor staff productivity
Train, coach, and support EVS team members
Coordinate with nursing and hospital departments to meet cleaning priorities
Ensure a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and organized environment for patients, staff, and visitors
Maintain hygienic conditions to prevent the spread of infection and unpleasant odors
Follow established protocols for handling, cleaning, disposing of, and relocating materials
Clean blood and infectious materials in compliance with OSHA Blood-borne Pathogen Standards
Inspect completed work and maintain quality assurance standards
Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and equipment concerns
Respond promptly to urgent cleaning requests and emergency situations
Maintain accurate records and communicate shift updates to leadership
